Lockers:
LOCKERS: The lock fee is a non-refundable $5 fee for the entire school year, payable at the time of registration. You have the option of using a lock provided by the school or using your own lock. The school lock is to be left on the locker at the end of the school year. 9th Grade Students: After presenting your school ID card and filling out the Locker Registration Form (given to you at registration) you will be issued a locker. If you purchase a school lock the combination will be issued to you. The lock will already be on the locker. If you are a returning upper classman, you will maintain the locker that was issued to you. If you are a new upper classman, you will need to go to the Supervision Office the first week of school for your locker assignment. Lockers are the property of Marina High School and may be inspected at any time. If you are using your own lock and we need to access your locker, the lock may be cut at your expense. Marina High School is not responsible for theft or damage to the contents of your locker. If your locker is broken into and the lock is cut/stolen/missing/damaged, etc. you will be required to pay $5 for a replacement lock, in addition to paying for any items such as textbooks that belong to Marina. You understand that you are using a school provided locker at your own risk and that you are responsible for all items contained therein. Locker use is a privilege granted by Marina High School. There is no right to have a student locker.
